Beer Marinated Flank Steak

  • 4 lbs flank steak
  • as needed, beer, light lager
  • 3 garlic cloves, cut in halves lengthwise
  • 2 green onions, cut in halves lengthwise
  • as needed, vegetable or grapeseed oil
  • to taste salt

  1. 1) Place flank steaks in a container or bowl big enough to fit them entirely and pour enough beer to cover steaks. Add garlic and onions. Cover and let marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour
  2. 2) Preheat Lynx Grill to high heat, or 550°F. Remove steaks from container and pat them dry with paper towels. Brush vegetable oil on all sides and season steaks generously on both sides with salt
  3. 3) Grill steaks for 1 or 2 minutes on each side to create grill marks. Reduce temperature to medium or 400°F and cook for about 3-5 minutes per side, depending on desired doneness.
  4. 4) Transfer to a cooling rack or cutting board and allow to rest for a few minutes. Cut and portion as desired and enjoy immediately
